We believe children
learn and perform best in an even playing field. We don't match
a giant with a little creature or a chessmaster with a novice. Each
category is designed to fit each player in the proper age group
and skill level. All the grade school (K-12) students are eligible
to play in the prestigious Scholastic section of the American Open.
