Time control: 40 moves/2 hours, then game/1 hour

(3-Day Option plays rounds 1-4 at game/1 hour)


Entry Fee:

Open, U2200, U2000, U1800, U1600, U1400, U1200 and Unrated: $165 if received by 11/20, $50 more at door.

 

If rated below 2000 playing in Open, add $50.

Unrateds must play in Open or unrated.

 

USCF membership required.

No checks at door -- cash, credit card or money order only.


4-day schedule: Registration closes 2 hours before first round start, not guarantee to play

if overcapacity, first round bye might have to be expected on on-site registration.

 

Rounds 12:30-7:30, 12:30-7:30, 10:30-5, 10-4:30.

3-day schedule: Registration closes 2 hours before the start of first round.

 

Rounds 12-2:30-5-8 (G/1)

Schedules merge in round 5 and compete for common prizes.

Up to 2 half-point byes allowed if requested with advance entry.


CCA minimum ratings and TD discretion will be used to protect you from improperly rated players.

November Rating Supplement used.

Players who had official rating of more than 50 points over section maximum any month Nov/2010-Nov/2011should play up one section.

Unrated who play in unrated section automatically waived their right to the prize,

if complain is received that they are officially master level in their respective federation

or country of origin. (on-line rating excluded)

In joining this tournament, you subject yourself to follow the rules and regulations of USCF and that of the organizer of this event.

You allowed and accept any dispute to be settled by the TD or a formal complain to an arbitration commitee that will be setup by the organizer.

Proper and high level sportmanship is expected of everyone in this tournament!

Players must submit themselve to a search for electronic devices if requested by Director.

Players may not use unauthorized headphones, earphones, or cellphones, or go to a secluded area of the tournament area without Director permission during tournament.

ID is needed to claim prize of more than $600 (Passport or State issued ID)

Chess movies, chess exhibits, door prizes, raffles and GM/IM lectures.
